Kenyans urged to invest more during China-Africa Summit
The Cabinet Secretary for Trade and Industrialization Rebecca Miano has urged traders in Kenya to be specific on areas to invest, saying this will make cooperation with China more productive.
Miano who spoke China-Africa Economic Trade Expo said proper planning will help forge connections, establish partnerships, and exchange ideas that will translate into tangible progress and prosperity for all.
“This forum presents us with unparalleled opportunities to forge new linkages and partnerships. Networks with industry leaders, investors, and potential collaborators, will pave the way for mutually beneficial collaborations that drive economic growth, and finally.” She said.
Miano urged investors to take advantage of the conference saying that serve as a catalyst for unlocking Africa’s unexplored potential.

“This will be achieved through growing innovation ecosystems right across the continent and plugging seamlessly into China’s investment and trade community.” The said.
The Trade CS further lauded the forum saying it fosters key areas of innovation, partnerships and promoting international trade.
“This expo is a springboard for ground-breaking advancements that will propel China and Africa toward a more competitive and sustainable future.” She added.
