The Lesedi developers and Lesedi Homes, under the Lesedi group has clinched two top awards in two different categories being The Company of the Year award, 2021 and The Young Entrepreneur Achievement Award, 2021 which was awarded to the director Mr. Geoffery Kiragu.
The National Business Leadership Awards (NaBLA) is an initiative by Inversk Magazine targeted at acknowledging and celebrating Kenyan business leaders and enterprises using excellent sustainability strategies to make a true impact on business, society, and the environment.
The awards will see Kenyan business leaders and enterprises who are accredited and fully recognized by respective government bodies celebrated and acknowledged for their impactful work and excellence in respective fields.
The awards gala was held on 26th Friday at the Panari Hotel. The ceremony was not only an opportunity for the participants such as the Lesedi group to win an award, but also an opportunity to interact with other like-minded individuals.
Businesses are always competing with one another, and the NaBLA awards come as an opportunity for the Lesedi group to compare its business to others and genuinely stand out. The awards will also assist the company to develop its business from the inside out by ensuring that there is something that makes the consumers choose Lesedi group above other real estate developers.
Winning business awards from credible third parties can go a long way in solidifying their reputation as a trustworthy brand that delivers. Award-winning businesses are consistently seen as more reputable and honest, even if consumers are not consciously aware of this perception.
Mr. Kevin Wainaina who received the awards on behalf of Lesedi said that the value of business awards extends well beyond reputation or foot traffic. He added that the company is well aware that awards can boost your credibility, which certainly brings you various advantages such as being recognized as a thought leader or being a worth-considering company for candidates in their job-seeking process.
It is apparent that winning awards makes your platform an award-winning platform, which attracts additional investment since everyone wants to invest in a platform that is always expanding as well as attracting opportunities to collaborate with other winners.
Mr. Wainaina said that once you become a market winner, you may simply form networks with other market winners resulting to business’s long-term success.
The Lesedi group has clearly set itself apart from the competitors which impacts positively on the company since everyone wants to work with a successful company. The awards have come at a time when many Kenyans are struggling to get back on their feet as an aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, which rendered many individuals jobless and left struggling on how to pay rent among other issues. A significant majority of Kenyans have been forced to downsize to more affordable living quarters. Lesedi group has therefore come in to offer a lasting solution by offering affordable homes and land in satellite towns, which many now prefer. Since its inception 4 years ago, the company has assisted more than 5,000 Kenyans own property in Thika, Juja, Machakos, Muranga and Nairobi.
Fueling its popularity is the yet another product named Lesedi Club for Land, which is meant to assist low-income earners in getting land at a place of choice. Once a person becomes a member, the only requirement is to deposit Kshs. 120,000 within 3, 6 or 12 months and become a land owner.
Recognition from the public in such a ceremony boosts the morale of the company’s leaders, and employees motivating them to work even more in the future.
