This latest accolade adds to Co-op Bank’s remarkable track record, as it successfully defended its position as the Overall Winner at the KBA Sustainable Finance Catalyst Awards in 2022.

In addition to this notable achievement, Co-op Bank recently received the prestigious Best Financier of SMEs in Africa golden award at the Global SME Finance Awards 2023.
The bank was honored with the Gold Award for SME Financier of the Year in Africa, showcasing its multifaceted contribution to the financial sector.
Gideon Muriuki, Group Managing Director and CEO of Co-op Bank, expressed pride in the achievement, emphasizing that these awards not only enhance the bank’s reputation but also underscore its commitment to fostering the growth of SMEs in Africa.
