Co-op Bank Strengthens Presence in Nakuru with Latest Branch Opening
The Co-operative Bank of Kenya Group has opened its third branch in Nakuru city.
The branch was officially opened by Hon David Kones, the Deputy Governor Nakuru County.
Others present at the launch were Co-op Bank Staff led by Director Retail and Business Banking, Mr. William Ndumia.
This newest Nakuru branch is situated in the Blue Bay Building on Nakuru-Bahati Road.
In a social media announcement, the bank stated, “Co-op Bank has opened yet another branch in Nakuru city. Our branch is located on the ground and first floors of Blue Bay Building, along the Nakuru-Bahati Road.”
The bank added ,”This expansion benefits Nakuru residents and those in the surrounding areas, providing easier access to efficient and real-time financial services for individuals, businesses, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), and formal institutions,”
In a similar move, Co-op Bank had earlier unveiled a new branch in Kimana Town, Kajiado County, along the Emali-Loitoktok highway in August this year while else they had opened another branch in Kamakis (Ruiru),Kenol (Murang’a) as well as in Thika town.
The new branches being opened by Co-op Bank are part of the implementation of its medium-term strategy focused on local expansion.
The bank has said that it is yet to maximize opportunities in the Kenyan market which remains the most profitable for homegrown lenders.
