Hon. Ayub Savula rates best MP in Management of public funds.
In a Survey Poll released today by Mizani Africa Hon Ayub Savula emerged best manager of the NG – CDF in Kakamega County and 20 best nationally.
The second term Lugari MP came second in the entire western region after Hon. Didmus Barasa of Kimilili Constituency.
The best MP in the Country was settled to Kiharu MP in a finding by Mizani Africa.
Savula has been at the front in disbursement of funds to needy and orphaned children and in matters development.
Hon. Savula is a frontrunner in the race to succeed Oparanya as the second governor of Kakamega County.
According to the survey, MP Mark Nyamita of Uriri constituency is the second while Mvita’s Abdulswamad Nassir was listed third.
The survey focused on the value for money, the number of projects within the constituency and accountability.
Although the electorate in Kenya gauges MPs based on CDF administration, the law blocks legislators from the executive management of CDF funds which are supposed to be run by independent committees elected by the electorate.
The MP’s role is limited to overseeing the management of funds under the respective CDF committee.
