Nokia introduces a new naming scheme with the launch of six new smartphones

Nokia X10

HMD has introduced a new naming scheme abandoning the numerical naming scheme that included a “dot” i.e Nokia 5.4

The next generation of Nokia phones are now carrying similar names to Samsung, with the alpha-numerical naming model.

HMD global has gone ahead and released six smartphones featuring this new branding. Nokia X20, Nokia X10, Nokia G20, Nokia G10, Nokia C20 and Nokia C10 – that have been streamlined into three distinct lines.

Commenting during the virtual launch, Stephen Taylor, CMO, HMD Global said, “The X-series allows us to offer the benefits of our high-end partnerships with Qualcomm and ZEISS Optics. Finding that perfect balance between specs and affordability is what the G-series is all about. The C-series, meanwhile, thrives on delivering ultra-high value tech to the smartphone market.
