Co-operative Bank Awarded Best Bank Stand at Mombasa International Trade Fair

Co-operative Bank of Kenya has been honored with the prestigious Best Bank Stand award at the Mombasa International Trade Fair, which was officially inaugurated by  Rigathi Gachagua, Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya.

The award-winning stand drew significant attention for its innovative approach to supporting Kenya’s agriculture sector.

The  Bank showcased a range of digital solutions designed to help farmers enhance their productivity and earnings, highlighting its commitment to the growth of Kenya’s agricultural industry.

In a statement on their social media pages, Co-operative Bank expressed their pride in the recognition.

“Co-operative Bank is honored to be awarded Best Bank Stand at the Mombasa International Trade Fair. The Fair was officially opened by His Excellency, Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH, Deputy President of The Republic of Kenya, earlier today.” the bank stated.

This recognition comes just a week after a Central Bank of Kenya report highlighted Co-operative Bank’s achievement in the lending sector.

Among Tier One banks, Co-operative Bank was noted for having the lowest overall lending rate at 15.18 percent, significantly lower than many of its peers.
