Co-op Bank and World Vision Kenya Forge Alliance to Empower Communities
Cooperative Bank has teamed up with World Vision Kenya to uplift vulnerable communities nationwide.
This transformative partnership targets key issues including poverty, water scarcity, education, health, and child protection, with a particular focus on Nakuru County.
Solidifying their commitment, the organizations formalized the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding.
Cooperative Bank jumpstarted this initiative with a substantial donation of KES 4 million. These funds will fuel World Vision Kenya’s locally funded program, Inuka Angaza Fund, specifically in Salgaa.
Gilbert Kamanga, National Director of World Vision Kenya, emphasized the significance of the partnership beyond financial contributions. “With Cooperative Bank, we’re not just raising funds, but building a future,” Kamanga expressed.
