Bonface Nyamu Accused of Taking Millions to Frustrate City Decongestion

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja’s plans to decongest the city from rowdy and disorganized Public Service Vehicles is a dream that will not materialize any time soon.

This comes after revelations pointed out that ,Chief Officer Mobility Boniface Nyamu has been on alooting spree from Matatu sectors Milking million of shillings and issuing out PSVs stages that are not gazetted.

According to Sources, Nyamu’s high appetite for money officer for what they term as subbotage of the highest order.

It has been established that the officer has been allocating stages to any matatu saccos that are not even registered, and in exchange he receives millions of shillings.

“Governor has been trying to bring order and sanity in CD ,but this officer goes behind the back and do opposite from what his boss is planning, “the source revealed.

This comes after Mr Nyamu refused to give an order banning all PSVs picking and dropping passengers in various petrol stations in Nairobi.

Nairobi County Assembly Members of the transport committee have been investigating the matter to ensure the PSV’s seize using petrol stations as stages.

In the year 2021,Public Service Vehicles were banned from picking and dropping passengers at petrol Stations through amotion before the Nairobi County Assembly.
