Following the resumption of international passenger flights, Emirates is offering Kenyan travellers the opportunity to travel to Dubai for Dubai Summer Surprises 2020 (DSS), a shopping and family entertainment festival with something for everyone.

The citywide mega festival which ends on 29 August is offering visitors diverse sales, show-stopping performances, immersive experiences and family-friendly celebrations at Dubai’s malls, attractions and leisure destinations. More than 4,000 outlets across Dubai are offering up to 75 per cent off to deal-hunters on more than 1,000 participating brands. The daily offers are available to travellers at: https://www.visitdubai.com/en/sc7/dss

Since 7 July, Dubai has been open for business and leisure visitors with new air travel protocols that safeguard the health and safety of visitors and communities. Customers are reminded that travel restrictions remain in place, and travellers will only be accepted on flights if they comply with the eligibility and entry criteria requirements of their destination countries.

Emirates’ premium customers are able the airline’s signature Chauffeur Drive Service (CDS) and airport lounge at its Dubai hub. On board, customers continue to enjoy privacy in Emirates’ First Class Suites with the assurance of the highest levels of hygiene. Customers in First Class can dine on demand and order a la carte multi-course meals created by a team of international chefs.

Across all cabin classes, customers enjoy award winning levels of comfort and care when travelling with Emirates, from the warm hospitality of its multinational cabin crew, to having access to an expansive entertainment catalogue of over 4,500 of on demand channels.

The airline has also revised its booking policies to offer customers more flexibility and confidence to plan their travel. Customers whose travel plans are disrupted by COVID-19 related flight or travel restrictions, can simply hold on to their ticket which will be valid for 24 months and rebook to fly at a later time; request travel vouchers to offset against future Emirates purchases, or request refunds via an online form on Emirates’ website or via their travel booking agent.

Emirates has implemented a comprehensive set of measures at every step of the customer journey to ensure the safety of its customers and employees on the ground and in the air, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to all customers.
