Pay Television Company StarTimes Media subscribers are set to be rewarded with integrated e-shopping platform StarTimes GO shopping vouchers for every Ksh. 300 spent on subscription renewal. Subscribers will enjoy a Ksh. 400 online shopping voucher that can be redeemed on various electronic and household products available on the platform.

The Ksh. 400 shopping voucher will enable a subscriber to redeem a maximum of Ksh.200 per item of choice on the StarTimes GO platform thereby enabling them access more products at discounted rates.

Speaking on the recent development, StarTimes Regional Marketing Director Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga noted the campaign is aimed at appreciating loyal subscribers in the spirit of Christmas season which will go a long way towards enabling them acquire various products for their own use or as gifts to their loved ones.

“We are in the season of giving and through this effort; we want to empower our subscribers to acquire more for less through our StarTimes GO online shopping platform. For every 300 bob spent, a subscriber will enjoy a voucher worth 400 bob using which they can acquire two different products which can each be redeemed at 200 bob each to cover the total voucher value,” said Mr. Nsubuga.

The campaign will however exempt low priced products available on the StarTimes GO platform such as ear phones, smart bracelets or during other targeted promotions that will be activated in between the campaign period which is expected to run till 15th January 2021.

Since its launch, StarTimes GO has grown the product range available on the platform beyond the flagship electronic devices relating to digital television access to include an array of products such as water-proof shavers, hair clippers, power banks, Hi-Fi wireless speakers, kitchenware, wireless headphones, automatic soap dispensers, style and beauty products among other household items.

The development comes soon after the company also unveiled a strategic subscriber retention policy that will enable subscribers on both terrestrial and satellite platforms watch local and international content reserved for higher bouquets at the cost of lower bouquets upon renewal of their monthly bouquet of choice.

Subscribers recharging their bouquets of choice for two months are enjoying access to the next higher bouquet for a similar period.

“The subscription policy will run up to the 15th of January 2021 where we are encouraging subscribers to take advantage of this period to access more content for less during and beyond the festive period,” concluded Mr. Nsubuga.
