During these social distancing times, various artistes have turned towards livestream as the new means to reach masses. Capital FM’s DJ roster have been on the frontline at ensuring their Facebook followers are continuously entertained, clubwise. Further, musicians like King Kaka in May also embraced this new revenue stream with his 3-hour concert that attracted 16,000 viewers on YouTube.
Showbiz Company Trace has lined up online concerts as they did with King Kaka’s and other local expected to headline in the coming weeks. Artistes such as Naiboi, H_Art the Band, Khaligraph Jones, Mercy Masika, Eunice Njeri, Evelyn Wanjiru, Valarie Muthoni, Karun and Xenia are expected to be part of these shows to be streamed live via YouTube and Facelive digital spaces of Trace.
