Shaffie Weru joins Homeboyz Radio a month after exiting Kiss FM

Former Kiss FM presenter Shaffie Weru has joined Homeboyz Radio barely a month after being shown the door at the Lion Place based radio station.

Shaffie has joined Homeboyz Radio as its new programmes controller.

He worked at Kiss FM for 14 years in a tenure that saw him host the Big Breakfast Show with Kalekye Mumo and later on teaming up with Adelle Onyango.

It is rumored that Adelle was forced to resign last month by the Radio Africa top boss Patrick Quarcoo after seven years at the station. Shaffie is said to have been offered a chance at his former show, the Evening Drive or exit but chose the latter as going back to his former show would have meant going a step back in terms of his radio career growth.
