Gaming is a world billion-dollar industry with a huge potential in the Kenya market. According to a PricewaterhouseCoopers report, the video gaming industry in Kenya was worth $44 million (Sh4.4 billion) in 2013 and is expected to triple (22.4% increment) by 2020.

Internet penetration rate being at 89.7% according to the Communications Authority, online gaming is set to take center stage especially during this COVID19 lockdown as game developers continue innovate battle royale games such as Minecraft and Fortnite.
